Degenkolb provided an erection stability plan for the new 480,000 square foot, 30-acre Flex-N-Gate automotive front-end parts manufacturing plant in Detroit. The investment represents the largest by an automotive supplier in Detroit in more than 20 years.
Degenkolb determined temporary erection period wind loads and performed a staged structural analysis of the building based upon fabrication and erection sequencing.
Degenkolb’s deliverable to the build team included drawings for field use which provided the framework for planning and executing a safe and stable job site and structure.
