Pearl Harbor Memorial Bridge

WHAT WE DID

The 1958 Pearl Harbor Memorial Bridge was replaced by a modern 10-lane version.

ABOUT THIS PROJECT

The 1958 Pearl Harbor Memorial Bridge is being replaced by the Connecticut Department of Transportation with a modern $554 million, 10-lane version. Degenkolb provided erection engineering for bridge steel of the I-95 west approach, addressing the challenges of a coastal work site with high design construction wind speeds, curved steel girders with truncations, and temporary bearing requirements caused by cold weather erection.
