Assisted with the lift and river transport of massive gates for the Meldahl Locks and Dam. To maximize fabrication efficiency, the gates were flipped 180 degrees during assembly. We designed the shipping frames that housed the gates vertically during barge transport, and performed a clearance study for the bridges along the 700 mile Ohio River journey.
