Degenkolb Engineers is proud to congratulate Laurie Lumish, Principal and Director of Marketing & Business Development, on being named a Fellow of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), one of the organization’s highest honors.
Throughout her career, Laurie has been a leader in elevating the role of marketing and business development within the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry. Over more than 20 years at Degenkolb, she has advanced from an entry-level marketing position to Principal and Director of Marketing & Business Development, becoming the first marketing professional in the firm’s history to lead an engineering practice.
Laurie’s influence extends beyond Degenkolb through decades of involvement and leadership with SMPS, the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), and other industry organizations. She has championed professional development, mentored emerging leaders, fostered collaboration across disciplines, and advocated for the strategic value of marketing and business development in the AEC industry.
The SMPS Fellow designation recognizes individuals who have made significant, sustained contributions to the profession through leadership, service, and mentorship.
