Tricia Ruby Tricia Ruby, Principal and Group Director at Ruby+Associates, a Degenkolb Company, has been awarded the prestigious 2024 Horace H. Rackham Humanitarian Award by The Engineering Society of Detroit (ESD). This is ESD’s highest honor, recognizing her exceptional technical accomplishments and humanitarian achievements. Tricia’s contributions have significantly impacted both the local and international communities.

Allison Acosta Allison Acosta, Senior Marketing Coordinator with Degenkolb Engineers, received the Nuovo Luce Award at the 2024 SMPS Los Angeles Leonardo Awards. This award celebrates her as a rising star and outstanding volunteer in the SMPS LA community. The Leonardo Awards recognize excellence in business development and marketing within the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry.

Bruce Burt Bruce Burt, Senior Principal at Ruby+Associates, a Degenkolb Company, was honored with the 2024 Engineer of the Year award by the Structural Engineers Association of Michigan (SEAMi). The award, presented at SEAMi’s Annual Conference, acknowledges his outstanding achievements in structural engineering, mentorship, and contributions to improving quality of life. Bruce has been a dedicated member of Ruby+Associates since 1984, mentoring numerous engineers and contributing to the firm’s success.
