Flint General Assembly Cab and Door Line Delivery System

WHAT WE DID

Designed and coordinated steel and framing systems for door conveyor and cab delivery projects, producing detailed drawings and 3D models.

ABOUT THIS PROJECT

For a large automotive client, our engineers arranged and designed screenguard modules, safety declines, repair spurs, drive/take-up platforms, overhead power and free conveyor support framing, and build line steel for the door and cab delivery conveyor systems at this general assembly plant. We prepared design documents with member sizes, connection design, elevations, and kip loads, and provided shop fabrication details for modules, headers, hangers, braces, tees, stop signs, and handrail stanchions. Installation drawings included plan views, elevations, sections, details, and piece marks. We also worked with the client to develop typical framing details and delivered a coordinated 3D model.
