What I like about structural engineering, particularly in seismic engineering, is the balance of creativity and impact. Designing structures to withstand earthquakes requires innovative thinking, finding new ways to ensure safety and resilience. I enjoy the process of finding new ways of solving complex problems and make sure people are protected. It’s fulfilling to know that the work we do can make such a significant difference in keeping people safe and shaping more resilient communities.
