Why did you go into Engineering?

I initially went into civil engineering because I had learned about our nations infrastructure crisis, and thought it would be cool to help work to fix it. I eventually specified structural engineering because I liked the aspect of being able to help ensure the safety of the most amount of people during a disaster like an earthquake.

I am a classically trained pianist.
