ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Ruby assisted the Alberici/Mortenson JV in the recapitalization of a facility for nuclear submarines, featuring the largest covered dry dock in North America. Ruby’s engineers provided comprehensive construction solutions, which included designing four movable work platforms, each measuring roughly 2.2 acres when assembled. These platforms facilitated efficient repair and recoating of the dry dock superstructure, while teams completed concrete repairs and utility upgrades below.
