A resource for Degenkolb LGBTQ+ employees and their allies advocating for inclusive, diverse, safe, and equitable policies and practices regardless of people’s sexual orientation, gender, identity, or expression.
Wellness Committee
Promotes mental and physical wellness through initiatives and events. This includes providing healthy snacks in the office, organizing an annual pedometer competition, offering access to a meditation app, and supplying employees with wellness tips and resources. The Committee defines wellness as the lifelong practice of making the best choices for a person’s optimal health and well-being.

Mass Timber Committee
Dedicated resource, providing support, guidance, and a network of experts for mass timber projects company-wide, ultimately advancing our position as leaders in this sustainable and dynamic field.

Review and advise on tools and technology needed for project management and organizing/accessing project data/files in an efficient, effective, and consistent manner company-wide.

Sustainable Design Commitee
Establish and maintain Degenkolb as an innovative structural engineering firm with respect to sustainable design. The Committee achieves this by disseminating information from internal research and external committees to Degenkolb employees, the design professional community, and clients/owners. The Committee takes an active role in developing company-wide expertise and project standards related to sustainable design, in assisting in the delivery of projects, and in tracking and reducing environmental impacts of projects. The Committee manages Degenkolb’s involvement in the SE 2050 Commitment.
