My path to structural engineering wasn’t direct. Fashion school in Paris, pre-med, mechanical engineering, management consulting… but each attempt taught me something essential: precision, how systems work, and how to communicate complex problems. What I was really searching for was work that balanced rigorous technical thinking with real-world impact and genuine collaboration.
At Degenkolb, I found that sweet spot. I work on seismic retrofits, tenant improvements, and office-to-residential conversions—projects that directly shape our community. What I love most is the craetive collaboration and mentorship opportunities: guiding women in the profession, helping younger engineers develop their skills, and making structural engineering feel accessible and dynamic.
I also love camping and hiking and watching my twins grow up!
