Before Degenkolb, I worked as a professor, and while I was giving a test, I played Yu-Gi-Oh! with my cousin. One eye on the students and the other on the board game.

What would you have studied instead of structural engineering?

I have always been passionate about physics, specifically cosmology. I love general relativity!

What hobby would you go into if time and money weren’t an issue?

I would love to learn how to play the violin.
