Why did you go into the AEC industry?

I wanted to go into a field that was technically challenging but also allowed me an opportunity to positively contribute to society. People interact with structures every day, and I want to do what I can working in structural engineering to make sure that structures are safe against earthquakes and other natural disasters.

Little Known Fact

I can play guitar and drums - not at the same time of course. Simultaneously would be much more impressive.

What’s your favorite band?

The answer changes all the time for me, though right now its Anderson .Paak. It usually lies somewhere between Hip-Hop, John Mayer, and Thrash Metal.
