My grandfather has always been a strong advocate for engineering in my family since he was an electrical engineer for most of his life, and although that seemed to deter my five siblings away from engineering, that was not the case for me. My interest was piqued, so I tried engineering largely because of his influence, but I stayed because I enjoyed it and discovered I wasn't half bad at it.
I chose the AEC industry because I believe this industry has an incredible impact on the lives of people from every walk of life. Right now my favorite band is Switchfoot with other close seconds being Needtobreathe, The Lumineers, Twenty One Pilots, and Mumford & Sons.
