Degenkolb strives to be a leader in the engineering community by proactively discussing and modifying internal practices regarding recruitment, hiring, employee inclusion, partnerships, and volunteering that support Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts. The firm has a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Council that reports to the CEO and leadership. The DEI Council has impacted our recruiting efforts to attract diverse candidates, has tracked our diversity metrics and seen its improvement over the years and studies promotion rates and makes strides to bring it into alignment. Degenkolb has provided diversity scholarships and internships to disadvantaged individuals.
