Converted an existing four-story facility into one of only two NCI-designated Cancer Centers in the Bay Area.  Operated in partnership with the local medical community, SHC's newest location will offer access to clinical trials and Stanford's National Cancer Institute-designated cancer program. The NCI recognizes centers that meet rigorous criteria for world-class, state-of-the-art programs in multidisciplinary cancer research. The South Bay Cancer Center will be SHC's most comprehensive medical facility outside of Stanford Health Care in Palo Alto and the Stanford Medicine Outpatient Center in Redwood City.
