As earthquake engineers, we view water and wastewater recovery as essential to the disaster resilience of our communities. We are dedicated to understanding system operational requirements, promoting the awareness of seismic risk in public policy venues that lead to the development of requirements and standards of earthquake performance and resilience, and educating water districts, utilities, and A/E firms on seismic risk.
